PAPER SPECIFICATION
Booklets and inlays are packed on our automatic packaging machines and must therefore be supplied ready for use according to the following specifications:
Jewel case booklet
· Booklet size must adhere to the dimensions in the diagram below.
· Paper should be lacquered on both sides.
· Paper must be totally dry before being shipped to BY THE BAY MEDIA.
· If the booklet contains more than one page it will need to be folded or bound like a book. Booklets of more than 4 pages should be stapled, or folded into a concertina, all with left side closed.
· 1-20 page booklet: Paper should be 170g (100Lb) for booklet cover and internal pages.
· 24-40 page booklet: Paper should be 130g for cover and 80g for internal pages.
Inlay Card
· Paper must be 170g and lacquered on the printed side.
· Inlay cards must be supplied cut to specification (see diagram).
· There is no need to make perforations on the inlay.
· The grain direction of the paper must be as shown in the diagram.
Printing Services:
BY THE BAY MEDIA is able to provide full printing services for the production of booklets, inlay cards and multi-pack cartons. If you are supplying the films for booklets and inlays, they must be according to the dimensions appearing in the diagram.
